It was an absolute privilege to produce the 2021 campaign for International Volunteers Day. Coming through another very difficult pandemic lockdown, a key theme that we wanted to celebrate was togetherness. Despite having nearly all of the Australian volunteers retrenched from around the globe, volunteers and partner organisations spent most of 2020 and 2021 working very hard to find new ways to volunteer remotely.

Over many trips with Australian Volunteers over the past 5 years, we have seen first hand the incredible bond that volunteers and partner organisations create. And despite travel restrictions and remote working, these bonds have remained so strong.

And we thought that was very important to showcase and celebrate!
